MicroLumix Builds Connections Through a Shared Commitment to Service
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — MicroLumix Bioscience Technologies recently welcomed Edward “Eddie” McCarthy III, President of the Rotary Club of Jacksonville, to its Jacksonville headquarters for an opportunity to share more about the company, its technology and the mission driving its work.
During the visit, MicroLumix leaders Chris Hickey, Debra Vanderhoff and Michelle Hogan spent time with McCarthy discussing the company’s continued growth, the people behind its technology and a shared commitment to serving others and creating meaningful change.
The visit reflects a growing relationship with members of Jacksonville’s Rotary community—one that began with a simple introduction.
John Fryer, past President of the Rotary Club of Jacksonville, first welcomed MicroLumix leaders into the Rotary community and introduced them to McCarthy and Susan Masucci. Those introductions have continued to develop into conversations and relationships centered on shared values, service and a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
For MicroLumix, those connections are an important part of building a company with strong roots in its hometown and a mission that reaches well beyond it.
Headquartered in Jacksonville, MicroLumix is committed to being an active part of the local community while continuing to grow nationally and internationally. As the company advances its technology and expands its reach, it is also intentionally building relationships with people and organizations who share its commitment to service and meaningful impact.
MicroLumix believes business can be a force for service—and that innovative technology, combined with people who care deeply about humanity, can create meaningful change.
That philosophy is particularly important as the company looks toward its future. Growth is not measured solely by the reach of its technology, but also by the relationships it builds, the communities it serves and the people whose lives can ultimately be impacted by its work.
MicroLumix extends its appreciation to McCarthy for spending time with the team and to Fryer and Masucci for their warm welcome, introductions and continued conversations.
The company looks forward to continuing to build relationships in Jacksonville and beyond with individuals and organizations who share a commitment to service and a desire to work together toward lasting, meaningful impact.
