PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Randy Moss is the Director of Public Health & Safety at MicroLumix Bioscience Technologies, where he leads the company’s efforts to reduce contamination risks across critical infrastructure and shared public environments. His work centers on advancing continuous, infrastructure-based protection strategies designed to lower exposure risks within the spaces people rely on every day.
Randy works closely with public health officials, government stakeholders, and industry leaders at the local, state, and federal levels to support proactive approaches to public safety and environmental resilience. He also collaborates with MicroLumix’s Pathogen Control Alliance (PCA) and Center for Healthcare Threat Intelligence (CHTI) to identify emerging biological risks and advance long-term contamination-management strategies.
Prior to his current role, Randy served for more than two years as Director of Infection Prevention at MicroLumix, where he helped support the company’s early initiatives involving automated protection technologies and contamination-risk reduction. Today, he applies that expertise across a broad range of high-volume environments, including transportation systems, commercial facilities, educational institutions, healthcare settings, and public venues.
With a strong operational mindset and a passion for public safety, Randy is committed to helping organizations adopt scalable approaches that support safer, more resilient environments through continuous contamination-management strategies integrated directly into the infrastructure around us.
“The future of public health protection will be built into the infrastructure around us – continuous, proactive, and designed for the way people actually interact with shared environments.” – Randy Moss
