PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Debra Vanderhoff is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Operating Officer of MicroLumix. Her vision for GermPass began when a friend contracted a staph infection which spread to her brain, and ultimately killed her at the age of 31. Determined to put an end to the spread of infectious diseases caused by pathogenically contaminated public touchpoints, Debra began the development of GermPass in 2019 and officially incorporated on 1/1/2020. Shortly before the first case of Covid-19 was diagnosed in the US, Debra’s vision became reality when the initial GermPass concept prototype successfully killed (inactivated) 100% of the germs from a door handle in just 5 seconds, validated by ATP testing.
Prior to founding MicroLumix, Debra has successfully worked with companies ranging from the Fortune 500 to startups across diverse industries in healthcare, finance, media, and SaaS. As the co-founder and COO of a SaaS-tech organization, she spearheaded the company’s growth across North America with customers in all 50 states.
She is happily married with two children, and a proud parent to several beloved fur babies.
